This whole buying a house thing is pretty trying. The worst part is that we have to sell the house we have. In order to better do that, we have opted to give it a bit of a face lift.


The house is scaffolded and they've already primed and done the first coat of the main color. They should be done by the end of the week. It's crazy, when you tell vendors that you're selling your house, they jump. There are people descending from all over looking for money. I feel like a dead ibex, with buzzards and hyenas fighting over my viscera. $2000 here, $400 there, $800 over there. It's like a wedding or something. I'm sure it's a racket. Come on, $800 for an appraisal? They walk around the house for twenty minutes and maybe spend fifteen typing something up. That's good money.
